Youth In Scope is a visibility platform. We surface the work of young change-makers across Nigeria whose contributions are rarely recognized by the institutions that could support them and we actively work to connect them with the resources their work deserves.
WHY VISIBILITY MATTERS
Evidence, not rescue
Development narratives about African youth tend to focus on what young people lack. Youth In Scope was built to offer a more accurate picture: evidence that young people are already leading, building, and creating in their communities and that what they need is recognition, connection, and support.
Every story we publish is followed by active outreach to the featured individual or community, connecting them with relevant opportunities and organizations. Visibility, for us, always leads somewhere.
